We have wanted to include 231A in our SimAngus for several years because of the complete combination of positive traits we see from him. 214H is a red carrier son out of the 5A cow, one of our favorite cows at RedHill of any breed. He brings additional marbling and maintains a moderate type with extra muscle along with super disposition. We are very pleased with 214H's first weaned calves. They are among the slickest-haired cattle on the farm, and they remain short-haired all year round. His calves are also docile and have exceptional fleshing ability. His first daughters will calve in the spring of 2025. We will continue to use him heavily in our program.

When we saw 186E in an ad in 2019, we were considering fleshing ability in our cowherd and how important that is to us. When we found out he was still available in the fall, we were able to acquire him. His pedigree is stacked with exellent cows, Gold S380, 829S, 626A, 745W, 795M, and M554. His heifers have that brood cow look, have excellent udder quality, and exhibit overall soundness and depth of rib. His Stayability, Heifer Pregnancy, and Herdbuilder indexes are in the top 5% of the breed.

In 2023 we began to recognize the need to bring in a bull with outcross genetics that would help with the frame size of some of our females. We recognize that it is possible to breed cattle that are to moderate framed. We believe that F752 will not only bring in valuable genetics, but will also encourage the frame size on some of our females that tend to be too moderate. F752's dam is also the dam of one of our other genetically impressive bulls, 347C. F752's first calves, who dropped in the fall of 2024, look very promising. They are easy fleshing, and show incredible length of body. We look forward to seeing what F752 brings to us in the future.

When we saw 133K in the spring of 2024, we knew right away that we liked his type and that he had the potential to bring an important piece to our operation. 133K is a perfect heifer breeding bull. 133K's first calves dropped in the fall of 2024. His calves are low birth weight, but show themselves to be excellent in growth. They are easy fleshing, and show incredible muscle even at a young age. We look forward to seeing more of 133K's progeny.
